Thank you for purchasing your puppy through KampbellKennels Bullmastiffs. We hope that you enjoy many happy years with your new bullmastiff. All of our puppies have been raised in our home and have been well socialized. This socialization is very important and we encourage all new buyers to continue with this socialization. Puppy classes and AKC citizenship classes are highly recommended. We also encourage all new bullmastiff owners to educate themselves on the breed. At the time of purchase your puppy has been wormed several times and provided with its initial shots. An exam with a licensed vet has been performed. A shot record will be provided at the time of sale.
Buyers agree to provide monthly heart worm protection, flea and tick prevention and to keep the dog up to date on all boosters and yearly vet exams, Full medical records must be maintained. Buyers must also feed the puppy a high quality dog food and provide adequate housing and shelter. We as breeders also highly recommend Nutravet vitamins. Dogs are not permitted to be tied outside or left outside without proper shelter. The breeder reserves the right to do home visits and if they find any type of abuse or neglect have the right to remove the puppy from the home. Breeder also has the right to request copies of health records and food receipts. Failure to provide routine vet care along with proper nutrition and vitamins voids the health guarantee. The health guarantee is only valid to the original owners of the puppy.
All of our puppies come with a 2 year health guarantee against any major genetic defects. If a defect is determined, documentation is required by a licensed vet. Breeder also reserves the right to get a second opinion if needed. If a genetic defect is determined, the buyer can either surrender the puppy to us in which they will receive a replacement puppy or they can keep the puppy with the breeder reimbursing vet expenses up to half the cost of the puppy. Any health condition in which is considered chronic may be covered only if the buyer provides proof that reasonable attempts have been made to treat or control the condition. Failure to attempt to obtain reasonable vet care, voids this guarantee. Underbites which are cosmetic in nature are not covered. Only severe underbites which cause direct health problems are covered. There is no guarantee that a puppy has the ability to breed or place in show. The guarantee does not cover disposition, conformation or the ability to breed. There is also no way to guarantee the size of the dog, as size estimate is made based only on the size of the parents. Diet and environmental factors also affects size. All puppies purchased with full registration cannot be bred until they reach 18 months of age. Breeding before that age, voids the guarantee
We highly recommend that all puppies be taken to the vet within 5 days of purchase. If the puppy is determined to be in ill health due to the fault of the breeder, written documentation must be provided and breeder will reimburse the buyer half of the expense of treatment.
Purchased dogs cannot be used in fighting, sold at a pet store or dropped off at a shelter. If the buyer can no longer care for the bullmastiff, we must be contacted so we have first opportunity to regain possession of the dog. Once the breeder has had first right of refusal, the buyer then may sell or give away their bullmastiff as long as the breeder has the new owners contact information. If a male is purchased with full registration and buyer later decides to neuter, the breeder must be contacted in that they can collect any sperm before the neutering occurs. Breeder will pay for all expenses in obtaining this collection..
The breeder must be notified in writing of all breedings and their outcomes to those puppies sold with full registration. Information must include date of whelping, number of puppies, sex of puppies, color and markings and any defects or deaths.
Kampbellkennels is more than happy to hold your puppy while you make arrangements to get the puppy in your possession. For puppies purchased under 8 weeks of age, we will hold the puppies until up to 11 weeks of age free of charge. After 11 weeks, buyers will incur a 50.00 a week boarding fee. Puppies purchased after the age of 8 weeks will have 2 weeks after purchase date to pick up puppy. Under special circumstances, boarding charges can be waived.
